This article explains how to change the product details, such as design, mockups, title, description, and prices, of a Shopify product that is connected to Gelato. The process differs depending on the connection date and whether all product variants share the same product type.
Products Connected After May 27, 2021
For products connected after May 27, 2021, where all variants are linked to the same product type in Gelato, follow these steps:
Go to "Stores" and choose the relevant store.
Locate and click on the desired product.
At the top of the product page, select one of these options:
"Edit designs" - Modify the design file.
"Edit mockups" - Change the product mockups.
"Edit details" - Update the product title and description.
"Edit prices" - Adjust product prices and margins.
After making the changes, click "Publish to Store".
Products Connected Before May 27, 2021
For products connected before May 27, 2021, or if variants have different product types, use the following method:
Navigate to "Stores" and select the appropriate store.
Find and click on the product you want to modify.
Locate the specific variant you wish to edit and click "Edit" next to it.
Reconfigure the product and upload a new design if needed.
Use the dedicated button to modify the product description.
To change prices or mockups for products connected before May 27, 2021, you'll need to do so through your Shopify admin account.
