Modifying Product Configurations
To change the product configuration of a Shopify product connected to Gelato, follow these steps:
Go to the Stores section and click on your store to view all your products. If some products are missing, click on "Sync products" to update the list.
Choose the product you want to edit.
Locate the specific variant you want to modify, click on the three dots next to it, and select "Disconnect." This action will unlink the variant from Gelato, preventing Gelato from fulfilling future orders for that variant.
After disconnecting the variant, click on "Connect to Gelato" and repeat the product creation process. Select the desired product type and characteristics for the variant, including re-uploading the design to be printed.
Important Notes
Mockups for the newly configured variants won't automatically transfer to Shopify. However, Gelato+ members can download high-quality mockups and manually upload them to their Shopify store. Alternatively, you can download mockup images directly from the design editor by selecting "Preview," right-clicking, and choosing the download option.
