This article explains how automated shipping and tracking information is provided to your end-customers via Shopify.
Automated Shipping and Tracking
Gelato uses a white-label solution, meaning no information is sent directly to your end-customers. Instead, shipping information, including tracking numbers, is forwarded to Shopify. This triggers Shopify's shipping notification emails and SMS, which are then sent to your customers.
If you've enabled tracking numbers in your Shopify notification template, these will be included in the customer's notification.
Your Shopify order history will display the following:
While the notification mentions "Gelato: Print on demand sent a shipping update...," it originates from your store, not directly from Gelato.
