This article explains how Gelato sends order confirmation emails to customers who manually place orders through the Gelato Dashboard.


Order Confirmation Emails

When you place an order manually through the Gelato Dashboard, we'll automatically send you an email to confirm your order. This email contains a summary of your order, including:

  • Order ID

  • Price (including the product price, shipping costs, applicable taxes, and discounts)

You can also find a link to your order in the API Portal within the email. This link allows you to review and check the status of your order, obtain a tracking link, and make changes where possible.


Important Information

  • The email confirmation is sent to you, not your end-customer.

  • You will not receive an email confirmation for orders placed via Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, or API integration.

  • If you don't want to receive order confirmation emails, please reach out to us and we will deactivate this feature.
