This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to manually export your Etsy orders and import them into Gelato. This process is a temporary solution while we work on resolving technical issues with the Etsy integration.
Exporting Your Orders from Etsy
Before you can fulfill orders, you need to export them from your Etsy shop.
Log in to your Etsy account and navigate to Settings > Options > Download Data.
In the "orders" section, select "Order" from the "CSV type" dropdown menu. Choose "October" and "2023" as the time period, and then click "Download CSV."
Next, select "Order item" from the "CSV type" dropdown menu. Choose "October" and "2023" again, and click "Download CSV."
Open the "Order" CSV file and create a new column called "Email" at the end. Enter the corresponding customer email address for each order in this column.
Delete all orders placed before October 22nd from the "Order" CSV file and save the changes.
Importing Your Orders into Gelato
Now that you have your Etsy order data, you can import it into Gelato.
Log in to your Gelato account and navigate to the "Stores" section. Locate your Etsy store and click on "Import orders."
In the popup window, click on each link to upload the corresponding CSV file ("Order" and "Order item").
Once both files are uploaded, click "Import."
Go to the "Orders" section in your Gelato dashboard to confirm that your orders have been imported successfully. Please allow a few minutes for the orders to appear, especially if you have a large number of orders.
