This article provides a comprehensive guide on managing users within your Gelato account. It covers adding new users, modifying existing user details, and deleting users. Managing Users in Gelato

To manage users in your Gelato account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Gelato account.

  2. Click on your initials located in the upper right corner of the dashboard.

  3. Navigate to Settings > Users.

From this section, you can add, modify, and remove users.


Adding a New User

To add a new user to your Gelato account:

  1. Click on the 'Add User' button.

  2. Fill out the required information in the form.

  3. Once complete, click 'Send Invite'.

Note: When adding a user to your account, ensure that the email address you enter is not already associated with an existing Gelato account. If the email is in use, you will need to use a different address to successfully add the user.


Modifying an Existing User

To modify the details of an existing user:

  1. Click on the user you wish to edit.

  2. Make the necessary changes to their information.

  3. Click 'Save' to apply the modifications.

Deleting a User

To delete a user from your Gelato account:

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the user list.

  2. Click on 'Delete User Account'.

  3. Confirm the deletion by clicking 'Save'.

User Roles and Permissions

Gelato offers different user roles with varying permission levels. You can assign these roles based on each user's responsibilities. The available roles are:

  • Admin: Possesses full permissions, including the ability to manage users and account features.

  • Customer Support: Designed for customer support agents, this role allows viewing and creating orders.

  • Developer: Grants permissions tailored for developers responsible for setting up integrations.

  • Custom Permissions: You can further customize the predefined permission levels to meet specific requirements.
