This article explains the upcoming migration of unique identifiers (UIDs) for our Photo Book products, scheduled for completion by September 23, 2024. This change is being made to simplify our product catalog and will impact how you interact with our products if you currently use legacy UIDs.
UID Migration Details
You can find the new UIDs for all Photo Book products in the spreadsheets linked below. Please note that legacy products will be removed from the product catalog, but you can still order them via our API.

Reasons for the Change
This migration offers several benefits, including:

Improved product catalog performance, making it easier for you to find the products you need.
What You Need to Know
If you place orders through the Gelato dashboard, you should start using the updated product pages for all new orders. After September 23, 2024, you will no longer be able to place orders using the legacy UIDs through the dashboard.
If you use legacy products in your ecommerce stores, we will automatically migrate them to the new UIDs. You won't need to take any action.
If you place orders via API, you can continue using both old and new UIDs without interruption.
Importantly, this migration will not affect the quality, pricing, or availability of any Photo Book products.
