This article provides a streamlined process for efficiently transitioning a large catalog of products from your Amazon store to Gelato.
Initiating the Migration Process
To begin the migration, reach out to our dedicated team for a seamless transition:
Contact Gelato Support Team to express your interest in migrating your products.
Our team will provide you with a CSV file specifically designed for bulk product migration.
Preparing Your Product Data
Before populating the CSV file, ensure your print-ready files are organized and accessible:
Upload your print-ready product files to a reliable hosting service like Dropbox. Please note that Google Drive is not currently supported for this process.
Completing the CSV File
The provided CSV file will have two key columns that need to be carefully filled in for each product variant:
Product UID
The Product UID represents the specific Gelato product that should be fulfilled when a particular variant is ordered.
Locate the desired product in the Gelato catalog, selecting the correct size, color, and other relevant dimensions for your variant.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the blue copy icon, as shown in the screenshot below, to copy the Product UID.
Paste the copied Product UID into the corresponding cell in the "Product_UID" column for that specific variant.
Repeat these steps for all product variants you wish to migrate.
File URL
In the "File URL" column, provide a direct downloadable link to the print-ready file associated with each variant.
Ensure the link allows access without requiring any login credentials for a smooth migration process.
For Dropbox users, you can refer to this guide on how to create downloadable links.
Supported file formats for print-ready files include PNG, JPEG, and PDF. For personalized designs, you can upload a blank image as a placeholder.
Please note that we suggest using files up to 100mb in size for smooth upload.
Finalizing the Migration
Once you have meticulously filled in the CSV file with the necessary information, share it with our support team.
Our team will then initiate the migration process, ensuring all your variants are connected and configured for automatic fulfillment by Gelato.
Please note that while we handle the technical migration, we cannot edit the designs within the provided print-ready files. Therefore, it's crucial that your files are finalized and print-ready.
