This article explains why it's crucial to include bleed in your document design and what to do if you encounter bleed-related issues.
Understanding Bleed
When designing for print, it's essential to understand the concept of "bleed." Bleed refers to the extra space around your design that extends beyond the intended trim line. This extra space is crucial because it ensures that no unwanted white borders appear on your printed product after it's trimmed to its final size.
Addressing Bleed Issues
If you upload a file without the required bleed, our platform will detect this and display a warning message. This message indicates that your document's page dimensions match the product size but lack the necessary bleed area.
To resolve this, you need to adjust your design file. Add a 4mm bleed on all four sides of your document. Once you've added the bleed, save your file and re-upload it to the platform.
