Dimensions for each product UID are displayed on the detail page for each product UID.
You are also able to download the design template from the product page, which will show the exact dimensions your design file needs to meet.
The dimensions in the product catalog do not include bleed. But the bleed is included in the design template. Read more about our design requirements here.
When you submit a PDF to Gelato, the file must be the exact dimension of the final document plus bleed. For example, if you want to print a poster whose dimensions are 300x400mm when printed, the PDF must be 308x408mm, i.e. the original dimensions plus 4mm bleed on all sides (see example below).
Common Product formats
Here are some common product formats:
Flat formats: For flat formats, you should always submit the file with bleed. However, after being trimmed, the final dimensions will be smaller.
Folded formats: Either single-folded, roll-folded, or accordion-folded. For folded formats, you should submit the file unfolded and including bleed. However, after being trimmed and folded, the final dimensions will be smaller.
Multi-page formats: Anything between 8 and 250 pages with different binding options. For multipage formats, you can use the same dimensions as single-folded brochures. Additional information about this type of product can be found here.
