You can add Gelato products to your Etsy store in minutes! Watch this short video or follow the steps described below.
If you don't have any existing listings on Etsy and want to add products directly from Gelato to your Etsy store, just go to Gelato Dashboard > Stores and select your Etsy store, then click on "Create product" and follow the steps.
Choose a product from our catalog
Add your design
Explore the left-hand side menu and make all the adjustments you need! Depending on the product you will have the possibility to make several changes (orientation, double or single side design, size).On the top right of the design screen, you will be able to see all the different variants of the product you selected. You can choose to apply different settings to each variant.
Mockups
Now, you can choose how you want your product(s) to be displayed on your Etsy store. Gelato offers several options to make your designs look stunning and realistic. At the top you can see all the different scenes we offer, you can also filter on a specific room. Note: If you subscribe to the Gelato+ plan, you will be able to download the mockups.
At the bottom, you will be how these styles are applied to the variants you are uploading. You can choose what the main product image is going to be as well as the mock up style used for each variant.You can choose whether to add the mockups as PNGs (bigger but transparent files) or as JPGs (smaller and will make your page load faster).
Product Information
On this page, you will be able to tailor the title and description of your product. By default, you will see the product name and description from our product catalog.
You can also add tags at this stage, so your customers will be able to easily find your products!
Select if you want the product to be published directly or added to the draft. When added as a draft Etsy won't charge you until you are sure you really want to publish it.
If you tick the box for free shipping, the product will automatically be assigned to a free shipping profile.If the “Show product to store visitors” option is disabled your product will be saved in the Drafts section of the Listings page on Etsy.
Set the price
Gelato has a pricing tool that will help you set the price of your product and even set (automatically) how much margin you would like to have on each product/variant.
In this step, you will be able to see both the Gelato price (which is what Gelato will charge you for the production of the product) as well as the recommended retail price (which is what we suggest you charge your customer for the product). You can always update it to your preferred pricing. Once you are happy with the prices, don't forget to Publish the product (top-right corner).
Please remember that the Gelato price is for the product only and does not include shipping or applicable taxes.
Now, if you go back to Etsy, and click on Listings, you will find the product you just published!
Please do NOT change the SKU value for the connected products in your Etsy Shop Manager as this will break the connection with our integration.
Duplicating Gelato products in the dashboard
If you created products via the Gelato dashboard and want to offer similar products with different artwork/formats, you can simply duplicate them. Click on the three dots next to the product and select Duplicate. Once duplicated, the product is created as a Draft which can be reviewed, edited, and then published to your store.
