Uploading certificates in the US
If your business operates in the US, you must upload a certificate for each state you operate in, regardless of where your business was incorporated.
Please note that Gelato will use resale certificates only for those states where Gelato is registered. Read more here.
If your exemption certificate applies to more than one U.S. state, please email the certificates directly to: [email protected]. This method supports multi-state exemption certificates, which cannot be fully processed through the standard upload form.
Important: Before sending your certificate, please make sure that the company name, address, and email listed in your Create platform account match the information associated with your business on the exemption certificate. The email in your Create account should be the one where you wish to receive the notification once the certificate is approved. Mismatched or incomplete information may delay processing or result in rejection of the certificate.
