This article outlines the terms of service that you agree to by using Shutterstock content within Gelato.

Using Shutterstock Content

Shutterstock images are integrated into Gelato to provide you with high-quality visuals for your product designs. Remember that these images are protected by copyright law. Here are some important guidelines to follow:

  • You have the right to use Shutterstock images solely for designing and selling products on the Gelato platform and connected sales channels associated with your Gelato account.

  • It's important to note that any use of these copyrighted images outside the Gelato platform or for purposes other than product design and sales on authorized channels is strictly prohibited.

  • For your convenience and security, Shutterstock files are not available for download.

  • Please be aware that using the media as a trademark for a business is not permitted.

  • When you make a product available for sale on a Sales Channel, you must attribute the creator, except in cases where such attribution is restricted by copyright or similar rights.

Appropriate Depiction of Individuals

When using Shutterstock content, it's crucial to ensure that individuals are portrayed respectfully and within legal boundaries. Avoid using Shutterstock content that depicts individuals:

  • In a manner associated with adult-oriented services or ads for dating services.

  • In connection with political endorsements.

  • With content that is pornographic, defamatory, unlawful, offensive, or immoral.

  • As suffering from, or being treated for, a physical or mental ailment.
