This article explains how to streamline your ordering process by saving product designs in your custom store. This allows for easy reordering without the need to recreate designs from scratch.
Creating Your Custom Store
Start by setting up your custom store, a handy space to house your product designs:
Go to your Gelato Dashboard and find the "Stores section" in the left sidebar.
Click on "Add Store" to create a new custom store.
Name your store and click on "Add store" to finalize the process.
Adding Products to Your Store
With your custom store set up, you can start adding products:
In your custom store, click the blue "Add product" button.
Browse the product catalog and select the product you'd like to create.
Use the design editor to customize your product.
Before saving, you can set the "Product Title" and refine the description.
Ordering from Your Custom Store
There are two ways to order products saved in your custom store:
Manual Orders
Go to your custom store's product list.
Click on the product you want to order, then click "New Order" at the top right.
Select the desired product variant(s).
Click "Choose" to add the selected product(s) to your order.
Ecommerce Store Orders
Go to the "Stores section" and locate the store you want to add the product to.
Click the blue "Add Product" button next to the store.
Select "Select a product from my stores."
Choose the product(s) you want to copy.
Review and adjust prices as needed, as the default price from your custom store will be used.
You can add products to a new order or an existing draft order in the Order section by clicking "Add Product," then "Select a product from my stores," and choosing your desired variant(s). Complete the process by clicking "Choose."
Once your products are added, you can proceed to complete your order as usual.
