This article provides information about creating a testing environment, sometimes referred to as a "sandbox," for your Intercom account.
Testing Without a Payment Method
A sandbox environment allows you to test Intercom's API keys without processing real orders. This is achieved by creating an account without linking a payment method.
To set up a sandbox environment:
Create a new Intercom account using a different email address.
Do not enter any payment details during the signup process.
You can now use this account as your testing environment. Please note that while API keys can be generated and tested in this environment, orders will not be processed without an active payment method.
