This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to add a new variant to an existing product in Squarespace and subsequently sync it with your Gelato account.
Adding a Variant in Squarespace
To offer a new variant of your product (like a new size or color), you need to first create it within your Squarespace platform:
Log in to your Squarespace account and navigate to Commerce > Inventory.
Select the product you wish to modify.
Click on Manage options in the top right corner.
Select Add option, name your new variant, and click Save.

Syncing with Gelato
After creating your variant in Squarespace, you'll need to sync these changes with your Gelato account to ensure the new variant is available for fulfillment.
Go to the Stores section in your Gelato dashboard and select your Squarespace store.
Click the "Sync products" button in the top right corner.
Platform synchronization occurs every 10 minutes. Once synced, your new variant will appear as "Not connected" in your Gelato product list.
