Learn how to add a new product variation in Wix and sync it with Gelato

This article explains how to add a new variation to an existing product in your Wix store and then sync those changes to your Gelato account.


Adding a Variation in Wix

To add a new variation to an existing product, you'll need to edit the product in your Wix dashboard. You can do this by navigating to the product page and selecting "Edit Product". From there, you can add more product options, such as size or color, to create a new variation.

You can also set different prices for your variants by clicking "Edit" under "Manage Variant".

Remember to save your changes once you're done.


Syncing Products in Gelato

After creating the new variation in Wix, you'll need to sync your products in Gelato to ensure the changes are reflected there. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Stores section in your Gelato account.

  2. Select your Wix store.

  3. Click the "Sync products" button in the top right corner of the page.

The new variant will appear as "Not connected" initially. Please allow a few minutes for the platforms to synchronize, as this process happens every 10 minutes.


Connecting the New Variation in Gelato

Once the new variation appears in your Gelato account, you can connect it to a product. For detailed instructions on connecting products in Gelato, see this guide.
