This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to delete products or variants from your Wix store, either directly through Gelato or through your Wix dashboard.
Deleting from Gelato
You can easily remove unwanted products and variants directly from the Gelato platform:
Locate the product or variant you wish to delete.
Click on the three dots next to "Edit" or "Edit variant."
Select "Delete."
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once you confirm, the deletion will automatically sync with your Wix store. Please note that this action is irreversible. If you need to offer the product again, you'll have to re-add it either through Gelato or directly on your Wix platform.
Deleting from Wix
Alternatively, you can remove products or variants directly from your Wix store's dashboard:
Access your Wix dashboard and navigate to your store editor.
Locate the product or variant you want to remove.
Follow the Wix instructions to delete the product or variant.
After deleting the item on Wix, go back to your Gelato account and click on the "Sync products" button located in the top right corner of the store page. This ensures the changes are reflected on Gelato's end, and the removed product will no longer be visible.
This process applies to all products, whether they were initially added from Gelato to Wix or added directly on Wix and then connected to Gelato.
