Adding Products from Gelato
If you're starting fresh and haven't listed anything on your TikTok store yet, adding products directly from Gelato is a breeze. Here's how:
Navigate to your Gelato Dashboard and click on "Stores."
Select your TikTok store from the list.
Click on the "Add product" button.
Follow the on-screen prompts to add your chosen products.
Adding Products from Your Product Catalog
Already have your TikTok store connected to Gelato? Fantastic! Let's add some products:
Go to "Stores" and select your TikTok store.
Click on "Add product." You'll see two options for adding products: "Single product" and "Bulk upload." Choose "Single product" to add one product at a time.
You'll be redirected to your "Product Catalog." Browse through the categories and select the product you wish to add.
Choose the variations of the product that you want to offer. For instance, if you're selling framed posters, you can select different sizes and frame colors.
Click on "Add new > Add image" to upload your design for the product. You can browse your files and select the image you want.
Customize your design using the tools provided. You can add text, multiple images, or use pre-designed layouts. Remember, you can choose to apply these changes to all variations or just specific ones.
Once you're happy with your design, click "Continue."
Choose how you want your products to be displayed in your TikTok store. You can select from a variety of mockup styles to make your products look their best.
Select whether you want to use PNGs (larger, transparent files) or JPGs (smaller files for faster loading) for your mockups. For more information on mockups, you can refer to this article.
Provide essential product details, including the title and description, and click "Continue."
Set your retail price. You'll see both the Gelato price (what Gelato charges you) and a recommended retail price. You can adjust the profit margin as needed.
Finally, hit the "Publish" button in the top-right corner to publish your product to your TikTok store.
Now your product is published and can be synced with your TikTok shop!
It might take a short while for your product images to appear in your store and dashboard, so don't worry if they're not immediately visible. Also, keep in mind that TikTok might take a few minutes to review your product, and it might appear as suspended during that time.
Duplicating Existing Products
Want to offer similar products with different designs or formats? Duplicating is super easy!
Go to your Gelato Dashboard and find the product you want to duplicate.
Click on the three dots next to the product and select "Duplicate."
The duplicated product will be created as a draft.
Review, edit, and when you're ready, publish it to your store.
