This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to incorporate mockups into your Squarespace products. While direct integration of new mockups from Gelato to already published Squarespace products is currently not supported, you can still achieve this by leveraging Squarespace's product editing functionality.
Updating Product Images
To update your product images with mockups, follow these steps:
Access your Gelato account and navigate to the "My Products" section.
Select the specific product for which you want to download mockups.
Open the design editor to edit the product design as needed.
In the design editor, preview your design to view available mockups.
Right-click on the desired mockup image and select "Save image as" to download it to your computer.
Uploading Mockups to Squarespace
After downloading the mockups, follow these steps to upload them to Squarespace:
Log in to your Squarespace account and access the website editor.
Go to the "Pages" section and locate the page containing the product you want to update.
Click "Edit" on the product section or block.
Within the product editor, click on the existing product image to access image editing options.
Select "Upload Image" or a similar option to upload the mockup you downloaded from Gelato.
Once uploaded, position and resize the mockup as desired within the product image area.
Save your changes to apply the updated product image.
