This article provides a comprehensive guide on how to efficiently migrate a large number of Etsy products to Gelato using our bulk import feature.
Getting Started
Moving your Etsy products to Gelato opens up a world of advantages, including a wider product catalog, simplified fulfillment, and potential cost savings. While connecting products individually through the dashboard works well for small-scale migrations, handling hundreds or thousands of products requires a more streamlined approach.

Contact Gelato Customer Service Team to express your interest in bulk migration.
Our team will provide you with a CSV template specifically designed for bulk product migration.
Preparing Your Product Information
Before you begin populating the CSV template, it's crucial to gather and prepare the necessary product information. This includes:
Uploading Print Files
To ensure a smooth migration, upload your print-ready design files to a reliable hosting service like Dropbox. Please note that Google Drive is not currently supported for this purpose. When uploading your files, make sure they are publicly accessible without requiring any login credentials.

Filling Out the CSV Template
The provided CSV template consists of two essential columns that need to be meticulously filled out for each product variant:
Product UID: This unique identifier corresponds to the specific Gelato product and variant that you want to fulfill orders for. To locate the Product UID:
Navigate to the Gelato product catalog and select the desired product.
Choose the appropriate size, color, and other relevant dimensions for the variant.
Scroll down to find the blue copy icon (as shown in the screenshot below) and click on it to copy the Product UID.
Paste the copied Product UID into the corresponding cell in the 'Product_UID' column for that specific variant.
File URL: In this column, provide the publicly accessible download link to the print-ready design file associated with each variant. Ensure that the link does not require any login credentials. Supported file formats include PNG, JPEG, and PDF. For personalized designs, you can upload a blank image.
Please note that we suggest using files up to 100mb in size for smooth upload.
Finalizing the Migration
Once you have meticulously filled in the CSV file with the necessary information, share it with our support team.
Our team will then initiate the migration process, ensuring all your variants are connected and configured for automatic fulfillment by Gelato.
Please note that while we handle the technical migration, we cannot edit the designs within the provided print-ready files. Therefore, it's crucial that your files are finalized and print-ready.
