Why the stock on Etsy is low?
Updated over a week ago

When you create a listing on Etsy with multiple variations, you can set the quantity for each variation. This helps you keep track of your inventory.

Sometimes, if the quantity of a specific variation is low, Etsy will display a message to your customers indicating that the item is "Low In Stock" or "Only X Left".

If you're seeing this message on your Etsy listing, it means that the quantity for that particular variation is getting low. To adjust the quantity for your variations, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Etsy shop manager and navigate to the "Listings" section.

  2. Select the listing that you want to edit.

  3. Click on the "cog" icon and select "Edit".

  4. Scroll down to the "Variations" section and locate the variation that you want to adjust the quantity for.

  5. Enter the desired quantity in the "Quantity" field.

  6. Click "Save" to apply your changes.

If you want to ensure that the "Low In Stock" or "Only X Left" message doesn't appear on your listing, you can set the quantity for the variation to a high number, such as 999. This will give you plenty of inventory to work with and ensure that the message doesn't appear prematurely.
