This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to manually remove Gelato shipping profiles from your Shopify account.


Removing Gelato Shipping Profiles

While uninstalling the Gelato app from your Shopify store is a straightforward process, it's important to note that your Gelato shipping profiles will not be automatically removed. To ensure a clean and organized Shopify account, you'll need to manually delete these profiles. Let's walk through the steps:

  1. Access your Shopify admin dashboard and navigate to the "Settings" section.

  2. Within the Settings menu, locate and select "Shipping and delivery."

  3. Scroll down to the "App shipping profiles" section, where you'll find your Gelato shipping profiles listed.

  4. Next to each Gelato shipping profile, click on "Manage rates."

  5. Finally, select "Delete profile" to remove the profile. Repeat this step for each Gelato shipping profile you wish to remove.

Managing Your Shipping Profiles

For those who prefer to keep their Gelato shipping profiles but avoid using them, there's a simple solution. Create a new shipping profile within your Shopify settings and assign the relevant products to this new profile. This way, you can retain your Gelato profiles without them being actively used for order fulfillment. If you decide to use Gelato again in the future, you can easily reactivate these profiles or create new ones as needed.
