Adding Products to Your Store
Adding a Gelato product to your WooCommerce store is quick and straightforward. Here’s how:
Choose a product: Begin by browsing our extensive Product catalog within your Gelato account and select the item you wish to add.
Add your design: Once you’ve selected a product, you'll be directed to the design editor. Let's say you've chosen the "Classic Matte Paper Wooden Framed Poster" from the "Framed posters" category. The editor will present you with available variants on the left side, representing different size, color, and orientation options. Choose your desired combinations, which will then appear on the right side of the editor.
Mockups: In this step, you can personalize the presentation of your products in your store using our mockup feature. We offer a diverse selection of scenes to enhance the visual appeal of your designs. Choose from various mockup styles and filters at the top, and preview how they appear on your selected variants at the bottom.
Product Information: Now, you can customize the title and description of your product. By default, the product name and description from our catalog will be displayed. Add relevant tags to improve product discoverability for your customers. Click Continue when finished.
Set the price: Gelato's pricing tool simplifies the process of setting product prices. You can determine your desired profit margin for each product/variant, and the tool will calculate the recommended retail price. You can adjust the pricing according to your preference. Once satisfied with the pricing, click Publish in the top-right corner to make your product live.
Note: The Gelato price covers only the product cost and excludes shipping fees and applicable taxes.
After publishing, your newly added product will appear as a draft in the products section of WordPress, depending on your store settings.
Duplicating Products
To streamline the process of creating similar products with different artwork or formats, you can easily duplicate existing products created in your Gelato dashboard. Simply click on the three dots next to the product and select Duplicate. The duplicated product will be saved as a Draft, ready for your review, edits, and eventual publishing to your store.
