For those using a Shopify-developed theme, you have the option to completely hide the vendor name from your storefront. Here's how:
Access your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store.
Click Customize on your currently active theme.
At the top, select Home Page and switch the option to Default Product.
Go to the Product information -> Text tab on the left side.
Disable Show text by clicking the 'eye' symbol to hide the vendor name.
