Gelato Branded Labels and Packaging Inserts Services
This service allows our API customers to add a touch of branding to their products. Currently, Gelato prints and includes both Branded Labels and Packaging Inserts for these customers. To ensure a smooth experience, please familiarize yourself with the following guidelines and the Gelato API Terms of Use.

Content Requirements
When utilizing our Branded Labels and Packaging Inserts Services, you'll have the freedom to submit your designs. These designs are considered User Content and fall under the jurisdiction of the Gelato API Terms of Use. To ensure a respectful and legally compliant experience for everyone, please ensure your submitted content adheres to the following guidelines:
Legal Compliance: All submitted content must comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Intellectual Property Respect: Your designs must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including trademarks and copyrights.
Appropriate Content: Content must not be offensive, inappropriate, obscene, or immoral. This includes language, imagery, and all other forms of expression.
Sensitive Information: Avoid including personally identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information without obtaining proper consent or having a legal basis for its use. We advise seeking professional legal counsel to determine the lawful inclusion of such information in your Branded Labels and Packaging Inserts for the targeted countries.
Gelato Branding: Please refrain from using Gelato's trademarks, brands, or messages implying a connection with Gelato without prior consent from Gelato.
Design Considerations: Avoid incorporating elements that resemble barcodes in your designs, as these can interfere with our carriers' internal processes and handling during delivery.
Consequences of Inappropriate Content
If Gelato identifies any content that violates the law or our Gelato API Terms of Use, we may take corrective actions. These actions can include:
Refusal to print the Branded Label and Packaging Insert.
Cancellation of associated orders, either partially or entirely.
Suspension of the customer's account.
Customers bear sole responsibility for:
Addressing any third-party claims alleging that the User Content, including our printing and shipment of Products following an Order, infringes a third party's intellectual property or other rights (including without limitation copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity and rights of privacy).
Handling all claims or investigations from government or authorities alleging that the User Content violates applicable law.
As per the Gelato API Terms of Use, you are required to indemnify and defend us against any losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including but not limited to damages, fines, and reasonable legal costs) incurred in connection with any claim or investigation of any kind made by any third party arising from or related to (a) an allegation that the use of the User Content infringes a third party's intellectual property or other rights (including without limitation copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, and rights of privacy)or violates applicable law, (b) you or anyone that you are responsible for use the Services in a manner not authorized by these Terms, or (c) any other breach by these Terms by you or anyone you are responsible for.
Missing or Incorrect Inserts/Labels
At Gelato, we are committed to fulfilling all Packaging Inserts and Branded Labels orders in accordance with your requirements. However, it's important to acknowledge that while we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee that every order will be fulfilled with the required Inserts and Labels. In such cases, Gelato will issue refunds for any missing or incorrect Packaging Inserts and Branded Labels. Please be aware that Gelato will not be liable for any further loss due to these discrepancies.
Amendments to the Service
Gelato retains the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the provision of the Branded Labels and Packaging Inserts Services at any time. This may occur with or without prior notice to users, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard.
